in photography, but I take my wedding jobs more seriously than
any other. I know I am creating an ageless family history people
will view decades from now. There is no job that requires more
skill, attention to detail, or that has zero margin for error.

My approach to a wedding day is based on the idea that the bride
is a queen and center of attention on her wedding day. She should
have fun, be relaxed, and enjoy every minute of her special
day. Obviously the photos have to be excellent, but it also
matters how the photography happens. I spend most of the day
shooting candid photojournalism, waiting for those perfect moments.
But whomever you consider photographing your wedding should
not only be an expert in candid unobtrusive photography, but
also be able to confidently interact with the bride, groom and
guests to create a few nicely composed photos of you with your
wedding party.
It is important in my opinion to ensure there are some staple
photos of a few selected family members in which you can see
all their faces clearly. Trust me if you do not get some of
these staple shots, you will regret it.
One of the main reasons to have a photographer at your wedding
is to record the family history. In many cases, it is the last
time many of these people will all be together. These photos
are important and often times quick and painless. This being
said, candid photojournalistic photography is what I spend the
majority of the time doing. Before the wedding and after the
family group photos I am able to get take a variety of different
portraits of the bride and groom (together and individually)
in a relatively short period of time. These are often people's
favorties.
Every wedding is a completely custom package, based on the bride’s
wishes.
